W11 in Action on the Isle of Wight
In June 2015, TTT Member, John Wickham headed across the Solent, to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Perfect mid-summer sunshine, never the best time of year for railway photography, has its compensations with the lack of heavy shadow around the middle of the day. His enterprise was rewarded seeing W11 in harness and we look forward to the day when this Terrier, together with an appropriate air-braked coach, can end the longest recorded absence of a Terrier from Tenterden Town.
